Payment & Insurance Information

Myofunctional Therapy of Southwest Kansas is a private-pay practice and does not participate directly with insurance companies.

This model allows treatment recommendations, appointment frequency, and length of care to be based on each client’s individual clinical needs and progress rather than insurance coverage limitations or predetermined visit requirements.

Accepted Forms of Payment

We accept:

  • Cash

  • All major credit cards

  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards

  • Health Savings Account (HSA) cards

Although we do not bill insurance directly, documentation such as a superbill, applicable procedure codes, and a Letter of Medical Necessity may be provided upon request for clients who wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance carrier.

Insurance reimbursement is not guaranteed. Coverage varies by plan, and clients are encouraged to contact their insurance provider directly regarding out-of-network benefits and eligibility for reimbursement.

Important Financial Policy

The $2,250 Comprehensive Myofunctional Therapy fee is a program fee that includes up to 15 therapy appointments. The number of appointments required varies depending on the client’s individual needs, progress, treatment goals, home-practice consistency, age, and clinical circumstances. Some clients may successfully complete therapy in fewer than 15 appointments.

Unused appointments have no cash value and are not refundable or transferable.

The program fee should therefore not be represented as the purchase of 15 individual appointments. Rather, it represents enrollment in a comprehensive course of myofunctional therapy with up to 15 appointments available when clinically necessary.

Additional appointments beyond the 15 included appointments are billed at $150 each.
